 Standing Request for Qualifications (SOQ) for Professional Design Services

Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code, Oberlin Public Library maintains a current, prequalified file of professional design firms (engineers, architects, and surveyors) to provide consulting services for minor capital improvements, mechanical retrofits, and emergency facilities infrastructure needs.

Professional design firms interested in being considered for future small-scale, direct-selection opportunities are encouraged to submit a digital Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). Submissions must include:

• General corporate profile and regional office locations.

• Documented experience with public sector, municipal, or library facilities.

• Resumes of key licensed Ohio professional engineers (MEP) or architects.

• Overviews of localized HVAC retrofits, structural enhancements, or energy efficiency projects.

Submission Instructions: Please transmit a unified PDF packet to director @ oberlinlibrary.org with the subject line "Standing SOQ - [Firm Name]". To remain active in the Library’s prequalification file, firms are requested to update their statements annually.
