A Personal Essay: Hermit Crab - An Oberlin Writes Workshop

From to-do lists and obituaries to cooking directions and crossword puzzles, the hermit crab essay borrows form to express an idea. This workshop will explore various forms a hermit crab can take, examine a variety of essays, and allow time for participants to write, and, if desired, share, their first drafts.

Presenter Kelly Garriot Waite's work has most recently appeared in The Journal of Wild Culture, The Fourth River: Tributaries, and The Hopper.
